Joined Judicial Service on 19.9.1981 as Civil Judge in the State of MP and worked at several places in different capacities such as Chief Judicial Magistrate, Additional District Judge, Deputy Secretary Law & Legislative Affairs Department, Additional Welfare Commissioner (Gas Tragedy Commission) Bhopal, Special Judge (Prevention of Atrocities on SC & ST). Thereafter your lordship served as Principal District Judge at Shivpuri, Jabalpur and Chhindwara. Your lordship was also called upon to the main Registry of the Principal Seat of the High Court to perform the task of Principal Registrar (ILR & Examination).

Your lordship was elevated on the Bench of the High Court of MP on 28.2.2014 and demitted the office upon superannuation on 23.1.2017.

Your lordship was later on appointed as Chairman of the Judicial Enquiry Commission which was setup for enquiring Mandsaur Firing incident.

After completion of the task of Judicial Enquiry Commission, your lordship was appointed as Member, Grievance Redressal Authority, Sardar Sarovar Project.

Your lordship is appointed as Judicial Member, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal on 23.10.2019.
