Born on 1st January, 1959

Schooling was done from Patna High School, Intermediate from B.N. College, Patna and Graduation from Vanijya Mahavidyalya Patna University Patna University. Passed LLB from Patna Law College, Patna University in the year 1982. To fulfilling the wishes of his father Late Sh Surendra Prasad Sinha on 8th March, 1983 joined Bar and started practice in Patna High Court. Was Standing Counsel, Central Bureau of Investigation, Patna High Court from 1995 to 2007, Government Advocate, Spl. Public Prosecutor in Patna High Court for Vigilance Investigation Bureau, Government of Bihar. Additional Standing Counsel, Government of India, Panel Advocate of Accountant General, Bihar. Conducted cases relating to criminal and constitution matter. In the capacity of Special Public Prosecutor, CBI, conducted three important trial relating to murder. As a Special Public Prosecutor, Government of Bihar conducted trial of kidnapping and murder cases. At the time of Fodder Scam cases in Bihar was Standing Counsel for CBI in Patna High Court.

On 28th December, 2009 took oath as Additional Judge, Patna High Court. On 24th October, 2011 took oath as permanent Judge of Patna High Court. On transfer, on 08.11.2019 took oath as Judge in Andhra Pradesh High Court from where retired on 31st December, 2020. He put self moratorium on new assignment for one year and only thereafter joined National Company Law Appellate Tribunal on 17th May, 2022 as Member (Judicial)
